Botanical Name: Ficus Elastica Robusta (A.K.A. Rubber Plant)
The Rubber Plant is a popular indoor house plant choice, as it is low maintenance and one of the best air filtering plants available. Its broad, shiny 'robust' leaves add a great splash of green to any interior space.
LIGHT: Prefers bright, indirect light although is more tolerant of lower light conditions.
WATER: Water when the soil starts to become slightly dry at the top. Keep the soil moist at all times, but do not over water as this will cause leaf drop.
HUMIDITY: Tolerant of normal room humidity, but would benefit from a daily mist in warmer summer months
CHILD / PET SAFETY: Toxic to pets
TIP: Prune back any unwanted branches for a fuller shape, and keep leaves free of dust by wiping down with a damp cloth regularly.
