The Maranta 'Prayer Plant' gets its name from the way its leaves are flat during the day and fold up like praying hands at night. It's striking, patterned leaves make it a popular choice for an indoor houseplant.
LIGHT
The Calathea Maranta thrives in medium to birght indirect sun. Keep out of direct sunlight.
WATER
Water with tepid water and allow top 1 - 2 inches to dry out between waterings. Do not let the soil get too soggy / saturated
HUMIDITY
The Prayer Plant thrives in a high humidity environment, so mist around the leaves regularly, and place the plant on a tray of stones and water (waterjust to the level of the stones)
