Magda Kuca is a Polish photographer whose work focuses on exploring the cyclical nature of human rituals by using historical photographic techniques, such as cyanotype and anthotype. Throughout her career Magda has collaborated with a number of art institutions and galleries, including the British Museum and University of Arts London. Magda is now based in London and works from her studio in Soho.
Urban Flower Co have linked up with London Based artist Magda Kuka to bring you a botanical inspired Cyanotype workshop from our Crouch End HQ.
This workshop will introduce you to history and chemistry of cyanotype and the basics of the cyanotype printmaking process, and then using watercolour paper, cyanotype paint,UV light and elements from our flower shop, you will create your own botanical prussian blue prints.
Suitable for: Beginners 16 +
Workshop last approx 2 hours and all materials, including gloves and aprons will be provided.
